The speaker, PhDr. Jiří Wolf, is a professional worker at the Museum of the City

of Duchcov and is our significant expert on the history and culture of the 17th and 18th centuries.

The topic of the lecture was deliberately chosen as a memento that the history of mankind is

accompanied by epidemics of various scales, with different impacts, and has always been, is, and will be.
