Ash tree (Fraxinus ornus)

A thermophilic species of woody plant that originates from Southern Europe. Due to its striking flowers, it is cultivated here as an ornamental tree in parks, but in some places it also grows wild. Its sap hardens in the air and is used in pharmacy to produce cough medicines and to aid digestion.
