The exhibit of May is the striking invasive bug, the American Bark Beetle. It first appeared in our country in 2006. Throughout the year, it primarily resides on pines, but in winter it seeks a warm and dry shelter to survive the coldest part of the year. Therefore, you can often encounter it in apartments, where it finds ideal conditions for hibernation.
